If you would like to join our club, we would love to have you...

If you are new to the sport/hobby of radio control aircraft, below is a list

of what we will do to help you and a list of what you will be responsible for.

1. The club will provide you with six free lessons on our equipment.

This involves the use of a buddy box system and one of the

clubs designated instructors.

2. We will give you advice on what to buy if so desired.

3. We will provide help with any aspect of model aircraft assembly, again if so desired.

You are responsible for the following:

1. After six free lessons you must join the AMA if not already a member. This is the

organization that provides liability insurance for you, the club, and our flying site.

This cost is $48.00 per year for the open membership. Other types of memberships

are available. You can check these memberships out at the AMA web site.

2. After six lessons, we ask that you join our club. The yearly membership dues are just

$36.00 per year. This cost is prorated for the first year at $3.00 per month. A family

membership is just $50.00 per year and is also prorated at $5.00 per month.

After joining the AMA and our club, the lessons and the help are still FREE.

3. You may be asked to help with field maintenance, and will be expected to follow the

AMA & the club rules.
