Welcome to the Elk City Flying Aces Website.

This web site has been developed to provide information to the public as well as the

members of the Flying Aces and any non members who are interested in the

sport/hobby of radio control model aircraft.

All types of aircraft are flown at our field, including sport, scale, and helicopter.

We welcome pilots to come fly with us, and spectators who are interested

in the hobby to come watch. We fly usually on Sunday afternoons,

weather permitting, and during the long daylight hours during the

summer in the evenings. We are located on the Southwest side of town

next to the speedway. Follow the link to the map for directions.

Latest News from the field...

Work is progressing on the drainage problem toward the south end of the field.

two sections of 8" pipe have been laid in the washout and covered, and a new

concrete drainage funnel is being constructed on the West end to help channel

the water in to the new drain pipe. (Hope we need it soon, as it is real dry

around here right now.) Work has gone on toward both ends of the runway to

help smooth it up and hopefully, new bermuda grass will be planted on both

ends and on the east side of the runway to help smooth things out.

With the weather getting warmer and daylight lasting longer in the evening, it's

time to get the equipment out, charged up and inspected, and go do some

flying!!!!
